Sediment Basin Mitgation Site | |

The mitigation site incorporates a 12 acre sediment basin located within a
canal that was reconfigured and revegetated to achieve a greater
diversity of wildlfe cover, food sources, and nesting opportunities. ELS completed the mitigation site construction in 1999 and continues to monitor the wetland and provide maintenance on a yearly basis. The biological function of the site has increased over time with significant increases in wildlife cover and nesting opportunities. The above photo is from a 2005 monitoring visit.
