SR 131 Water Line Replacement

ELS was contracted by Grayling Engineers on behalf of Lewis County Water District #1, to complete an ESA document and other critical area reporting for a water line to be installed beneath the Cowlitz River with horizontal directional drilling located in Randle, Washington. ELS biologists created a project plan with the engineer and environmental planner to help determine if a federal nexus would be triggered on the project and if an ESA document will be necessary. This project is still ongoing.
