The Cougar Creek Trunk Sewer Repair project consisted of rehabilitation of approximately 4,050 linear feet of sewer pipe within Cougar Creek Canyon in Vancouver, Washington. The project corridor is within a biodiversity corridor and contains Cougar Creek, a fish bearing stream, and multiple wetlands. The pipeline corridor crossed multiple wetlands and crossed the creek multiple times. ELS biologists delineated 23 wetlands and the ordinary high water mark of the stream throughout the corridor, as well as prepared a critical areas report and restoration plan for temporary impacts. Due to environmentally friendly construction techniques, no critical areas permitting was required.
